In order to celebrate George Washington’s 285th birthday, the United States National Park service will be offering free admissions to all national parks on Feb. 28. There are 21 national parks to enjoy in Virginia alone. One of those parks is the Great Falls Park, part of the George Washington Memorial Parkway and located in McLean.

Other parks available in the state are the Mananas National Battlefield Park, Prince William Forest and Shenandoah National Park. Each park has something unique and beautiful to offer to its visitors.
